Generative AI Policy
Darunnajah in Education (DIE) supports the responsible and transparent use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in scholarly publishing.
Authors may use AI tools for language editing, translation, and research assistance. Any substantial use of AI in manuscript preparation or analysis must be disclosed. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.
Editors and reviewers must maintain confidentiality and must not upload unpublished manuscripts to unauthorized AI tools. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and misleading use of AI are prohibited.
This policy follows relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the ICMJE Recommendations on AI, and the WAME Recommendations on Generative AI.
DIE reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policies.
